Publicly traded, regulated utility provider that also provides logistics and transport services throughout the Midwest. The utility had been running PeopleSoft 8.8 since 2006, with EasyBuy, and had introduced over 500 customizations to improve PeopleSoft functionality. Increasing regulatory demands and a desire to better integrate with 3rd party systems, with the pending end-of-life for 8.8, drove the company to upgrade PeopleSoft to 9.1. In addition, they wanted to replace EasyPay with a more flexible solution and reduce as many customizations as possible. The project was completed on-time and under-budget.

Hospital System

Regional hospital system that was running PeopleSoft 8.8, and had deployed 16 separate instances across its hospitals and clinics. PeopleSoft was running on DB2. In order to reduce support costs, client wanted to migrate PeopleSoft to a Wintel platform and upgrade to 9.1, consolidate from 16 to 1 instance and thereby reduce customizations as well as unify business processes across the entire organization.
