New Resources Consulting, a leading management and technology firm, has initiated an extensive training program in its Milwaukee, WI and Winston-Salem, NC offices to identify, train, and groom talented candidates for career opportunities in the innovative, high-tech Oracle Cloud industry.
With the recent movement of more and more companies wanting to migrate their on premise applications to Oracle Cloud, as well as the documented industry statistic that ‘lack of resources’ is the #1 challenge of Cloud opportunities, NRC recognized that now was the best opportunity to initiate its ‘Oracle Cloud Green Bean’ program.
Through a comprehensive search of potential candidates nationally and rigorous interviews by senior leadership of NRC’s Oracle Solutions Group practice, NRC identified twenty (20) individuals who are currently attending the initial Oracle Cloud Green Bean training program. These individuals have four-year degrees in areas such as Information Technology, Computer Science, IT Infrastructure, and Engineering and are graduates of universities, such as UW-Milwaukee; UW-LaCrosse; UW-Oshkosh; Milwaukee School of Engineering; Northern Illinois University; University of Georgia; Wofford College; Guilford College; Oklahoma State University; University of North Carolina; and North Carolina State.
Based on the success of NRC’s initial Green Bean program focused on enterprise application implementation and support, the six (6) month Oracle Cloud Green Bean program is structured to provide candidates with real-world practical Oracle Cloud experience, shadowing mentors in senior leadership roles, before ultimately being able to deliver technical and functional responsibilities on their own. The unique program also offers classroom training from NRC’s staff of senior consultants, including the ‘soft skills,’ such as project and meeting management.
Upon completion of the Oracle Cloud Green Bean program, graduates are certified to perform Oracle Cloud-based activities and are able to launch their careers within NRC’s Oracle Solutions Group consulting practice. Throughout the entire training process, Oracle Cloud Green Beans are salaried, full-time employees of NRC with full benefits. Based on the demand, it is anticipated that future training courses will be provided.
NRC, an Oracle Platinum Partner, works directly with Oracle personnel to identify, pursue, and staff multiple Oracle Cloud opportunities. Currently, NRC and Oracle are partnered to provide Oracle Cloud migration services to the largest academic healthcare facility in the country.
“New Resources Consulting believes that this is an ideal career opportunity for college graduates,” said Don Weber, NRC’s General Manager. “Our exclusive program provides individuals with comprehensive on-site and classroom training; in demand, high-tech project opportunities; and involvement with one of the largest technology organizations in the world.”
