New Resources Consulting (NRC), in association with Oracle, hosted an exclusive seminar, The Status of PeopleSoft, #AliveandThriving, on November 18, 2015 at the Milwaukee Athletic Club, WI. Opened by Mark Grosskopf, NRC President and CEO, the seminar included introductions by Brian Morrison, Senior Vice President of NRC’s Enterprise Solutions Group (ESG), and Jill Strenzel, Senior Vice President, ESG Solution Delivery. Presentations followed by members of Oracle PeopleSoft’s Product Strategy executive team: Jeff Robbins and David Bain.
"PeopleSoft of Today and Tomorrow—Intuitive, Powerful, and Easy," presented by Jeff Robbins, emphasized that Oracle PeopleSoft is "alive, thriving and delivering" to the more than 6,000 clients who currently employ the PeopleSoft solution. This includes releasing more than 250 new features and 14 module image updates, conducting more than 300 Focus Group meetings per year, and spending more than 300,000 person days per year on PeopleSoft development – all leading to an improved user experience. Specific information was provided on PeopleSoft’s investment strategy and product roadmap.
“We appreciate the opportunity that NRC has provided us to ensure our users understand that Oracle’s dedication to the PeopleSoft product remains steadfast,” said Jeff Robbins, Oracle, Senior Director, PeopleSoft Product Strategy. “We are committed to the PeopleSoft Applications and Tools and will continue to deliver solutions and capabilities vital to an organization’s overall business performance.”
David Bain’s presentation "PeopleSoft’s Product Direction," provided details and a demonstration of PeopleSoft’s enhanced Fluid User Interface, enabling the increased use of PeopleSoft in a mobile environment. Specific discussion was provided on the importance of selective adoption of Fluid UI to ensure new features are applicable to an organization’s business processes and are properly utilized.
Organized by NRC, an Oracle Platinum Partner, the seminar was attended by multiple representatives from more than 35 local and regional companies via web conference or the Milwaukee Athletic Club location. For more than 15 years, NRC has served as a key implementer of PeopleSoft’s enterprise‐wide solution, employing personnel with strong technical and functional skills to ensure that an organization optimizes its use of the system.
“NRC is appreciative of our long‐standing relationship with Oracle PeopleSoft,” said Jill Strenzel, NRC Senior Vice President, Solution Delivery. “We are encouraged by their demonstrated strategic direction and the future of the PeopleSoft product.”
