RECONNECT 2017 consisted of 150 education sessions dedicated to PeopleSoft.  Below are the NRC highlights and top takeaways from this year’s conference:

Oracle provided some great and very useful information on how to interact with peers and learn more about planned enhancements and features:

  • Cumulative Feature Overview Tool – Used to identify product features available to you when upgrading to a new release.  Great and easy to use tool if you are considering optimizing your current PeopleSoft system, upgrading to 9.2, or applying a new PUM image. The link to the page is  https://apexapps.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=10319:5:0 and there is a more complex updated version that will report on what features you have or have not applied.
  • PeopleSoft Planned Features and Enhancements – Great information area that outlines upcoming features and enhancements. As part of the continuous delivery model new features and updates are delivered throughout the year through PUM (PeopleSoft Update Manager).  This page gives updates on features planned over the next 12-18 months. The link page is https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay?id=1966243.2 and does require you to be logged in to your Oracle account.
  • Community Idea Spaces – This site allows PeopleSoft users to submit enhancement ideas directly to PeopleSoft Development, view enhancement ideas submitted by other users, and influence ideas by commenting and voting as a PeopleSoft user community.  The link to the idea space page is https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E52319_01/infoportal/mosc.html.
  • PeopleSoft Information – The latest news and updates on all things PeopleSoft can be found at peoplesoftinfo.com and the PeopleSoft YouTube Channel www.youtube.com/PSFTOracle.
